Hello!

Like we've already told you we've been working with Erin +Pets Palace TV !

Erin has very kindly done a blog post about animal testing and she interviewed us.

This is it!

Fighting Animal Testing
April 30, 2016

Recently an Instagram account named @talk_about_testing who also have a blog (www.talk-about-testing.blogspot.co.uk) sent me a direct message regarding animal testing, and they suggested that I should upload a YouTube video about animal testing to help raise awareness; in the future I would like to make YouTube videos about the topic to help spread the message, but I currently do not have the knowledge. I am going to do more research on the topic, and once I have learned more, I may decide to educate others about it. I asked them some questions about testing on animals to get a better understanding so I thought I would share that with you all today.

Q1) What got you interested in fighting animal testing?

A1) Me and my friends were in Boots and a lady was asking about animal testing, she asked if a popular brand tested on animals and the lady at the counter said no. We were shocked to find out that this brand did test on animals! Also, my friend researched more brands and she found out that other brands test on animals. Without all of this, none of this would have happened!

Q2) What things have you done to help prevent this from happening?

A2) I have gone 100% cruelty free! The biggest thing that has prevented animal testing was our blog. I didn't think we would get 10 views a year, never mind 350 a week! We have got over 1000 views at the moment.

Q3) What things can myself and others do to help prevent animals being tested on?

A3) Raise awareness! Tell your family and friends how awful it is! Use hash tags such as #fightinganimaltesting on social media. Comment on brands that do test on animals and soon everyone will know they test.

Q4) When purchasing makeup and other cosmetics, how can myself and others ensure that the products are cruelty free?

A4) When shopping for cruelty free products, research what you are buying online before you go shopping. Peta's website is really good, it has huge lists of brands that test and brands that don't.

I would like to say thanks to @talk_about_testing for answering the questions I had. This has definitely opened up my eyes to animal testing and I am now looking towards having a cruelty free lifestyle.

Just to say- Thank you so much for helping us get one step closer to ending animal testing. I hope we  can keep working with you !

Thank you!

Bye!
